Sport Rock - Rock Climbing Basic Skills Class (14+)

Perfect for your teenager (with a little too much energy) or a date night! Learn the essential rock climbing skills at Sport Rock in 2 hours with maximum flexibility any weekday (7pm) or weekend (11am, 1:30pm or 4pm). At the Basic Skills Class you’ll learn how to properly put on a harness, tie into the rope and belay for a partner. Once you’ve got those skills down, you can stick around and practice under the supervision of your instructor. Please note that, while you will have an opportunity to practice these skills during your class, you will not be able to belay on your own until you pass our Top Rope Belay Test.
