DESCRIPTION:Sound, Rhythm, and Movement in Spanish\n\n01/25/20 10:30 AM EST\n - 01/25/20 11:00 AM EST\Description:\nMONA's Spanish-English Bilingual Families subgroup will be sponsoring a complimentary "Sound, Rhythm, and Movement" session with Ms. Priscilla Huayllas this Saturday (1/25) at the Lee Community Center, Classroom 201, at 10:30am. The session will be around 30 minutes followed by a community Spanish class geared to families with young children for those who would like to stay.\n\nChildren and Parents will be singing and dancing and learning different rhythms.  Music is a universal language. It is a way of communicating and expressing oneself. For young children, singing is not that much different from talking. Throughout this fun rhythm activities the children will make interesting discoveries about the many sounds that we can make with our body, musical instruments and others.  \n\n​Note: The session tomorrow is appropriate for ages 0-4. In the next few weeks, we will be offering another "Sound, Rhythm and Movement" class for ages 5+.
